Our Background

Since 2017 CJSC Escolit has been implementing an investment project for the construction of a new pharmaceutical plant in Telšiai, Lithuania.

The project is being implemented jointly with the Lithuanian Business Support Agency (LVPA) and with the involvement of EU funds. The share of EU funds in the project is 10%. The pharmaceutical plant have a full production cycle of tablets and hard gelatin capsules, class D clean rooms in production departments, its own quality control and microbiology laboratories, an experimental site, and a warehouse. Three production departments are designed for the production of general-purpose medicines, antibiotics and antituberculosis medicines.

Production machines are from Italian company IMA and South Corea Sejong Pharmatech.

Currently, the construction of the factory is completed, the installation  works of the equipment have been performed, and the process of commissioning the factory is underway. The planned start of the plant's operation is in the end of 2022.
